With the opening of Dough Luv in Colchester, Connecticut has officially joined the edible cookie dough movement. Edible cookie dough isn’t a brand new to us, and you can find it both with and without gluten at various locations throughout the state, but what’s different about this place is that they make it fresh every day. And they can make it gluten free! We tasted three gluten-free flavors – plain cookie dough, chocolate chip, and brownie, and they all had us swooning. You can mix your cookie dough with ice cream in a cone or in a cup, you can eat it plain, with an assortment of toppings, or even mixed into a shake! Dough Luv does not always have gluten-free cookie dough prepared, but it only takes about 15 minutes to make it, and they’re more than happy to do so. However, if you’re planning to stop in for a treat, you can call ahead and they’ll have it waiting for you. Now THAT’s fresh!
